Soft, fold or roll: which baby play mat format fits your home

We make three formats, and the question we get most is which one to buy. The honest answer is that it depends less on the baby and more on your home and your week. Here is how we think about it.

Soft Foam - the room that stays a playroom

If you have a corner that can stay set up, Soft Foam is the one. It is 30 mm of plush foam with a coral-velvet top, and it behaves like a rug: you put it down and it lives there. Ours lives under the coffee table we pushed to the wall a year ago and never moved back.

Fold XPE - the everyday all-rounder

The Fold is 180 x 200 cm, reversible, and folds flat in seconds. If the mat needs to disappear when guests come over, or travel to the grandparents' place, this is the format. Three thicknesses, and you flip between two designs when the room needs a change.

Roll XPE - full size that stores slim

The Roll covers a big area and then rolls into a slim tube behind a door. Good for homes where the play space is the living room itself, and the living room sometimes has to be a living room.
